I love old atmospheric places that breathe many stories of the life of this world. This hotel some that. We had the impression that we were in the Georgian era. Even the gentleman at the reception looked like a lord))) Our room was in a separate room with a great design stylized as the old times and very comfortable. We got special pleasure from the garden, even in early spring and empty it creates a very cozy atmosphere. It must be incredibly beautiful there in the summer. I very grateful to the owners of this hotel for our pleasure of staying here.

This is an experience for people who like old Victorian homes and great meals. This is top dining but not for millennials (i.e. not gluten free etc.) This is the food that most New Brunswickers would recognize from top restaurants of the last century. however, just up the street there are gluten free bakeries and other great treats for breakfast. This is completely what I expected and I was not disappointed.

Margaret

This building is spectacular. You are stepping back 100 years! Barry met us personally and was great in ideas for the town. Sackville is small so we went in to Moncton. We had dinner at the Inn and it was 'the best I have had in a very long time'. I had the seafood crepes which I would highly recommend. Wine list is a little skimpy but good value. Bed was a king size in our room and very comfy.

Leslie

Nice location with lovely grounds with plenty of places to sit outside. I found the inn to be absolutely beautiful with its rich history and period furnishings and decorations. Very charming. Our room was clean and comfortable for the most part. Had dinner one evening in the restaurant. Food was a bit expensive but very good. The plantings/ trees and gardens were a treat to find and enjoy.

This is an exceptional place & is pet friendly. The grounds are large & lovely. Fine dining available at property & it’s so historical feeling. Visitor guest list for restaurant impressive (Desmond Tutu, etc). The seafood crepe was super and it’s the first time I’ve experienced a truly elegant tea service after dinner (warmed cup no less)!
